We continue our study of unit 7 in Everyday Math. Our focus this week will be on the number line as students work with positive and negative numbers. In addition, students will learn the rules needed to add and subtract negative and positive numbers. We will continue reviewing order of operations in class. There will be a short quiz on Friday over order of operations. We will finish unit 7 next week. The students will be assessed over unit 7 concepts on Thursday, February 16th.
Reminder- There is math extra credit on Study Island. It needs to be completed by Friday, February 17th. Please encourage your child to take advantage of this extra credit opportunity.
