READING/WRITING
Poetry, poetry, and more poetry will be our focus this week. The students will read and write several types of poems in class. We will review figurative language and apply what we know to our poetry. There will be a quiz over figurative language on Friday. The students have great notes in their language arts composition book to study for the quiz!
SPELLING
There will not be a spelling test this week.
GRAMMAR
Students will work on Daily Language activities each day in class.
HOMEWORK
Study for the quiz on Friday over figurative language
