We've been exploring light energy the last two weeks and have been learning about how light is transmitted as well as how light reflects and refracts. Vocabulary to know: reflection, refraction, absorption, transparent, translucent, and opaque. Today we did and investigation using a prism to divide white light into the colors of the spectrum. Ask your child to share his or her knowledge with you!
There will be a vocabulary quiz Friday, April 13th on the above vocabulary. We'll review tomorrow in class and students will have a study guide to help them prepare.
